Introducing the 2023 Trip of the Month (TOTM) draw in support of the Youth Hub!
What is a TOTM draw?
Each month we’ll draw for a predetermined Trip and two draws for $150 (except February we’ll draw double – 2 trips & 4 x $150)
What can I win?
Each month if your ticket is the lucky Grand Prize winner for the month you’ll have the option of choosing the Trip of the Month, a Travel Voucher (at a lesser value), or cash (at a lesser value paid to you by cheque).
What are the Trip Destinations and Draw Dates?
- February 23rd – Cuba and Las Vegas (2 draws)
- March 23rd – Jamaica
- April 27th – Orlando, Florida
- May 25th – Italy
- June 22nd – Riviera Maya, Mexico
- July 27th – Montreal, Quebec
- August 24th – Portugal
- September 28th – Dominican Republic
- October 26th – Playacar, Mexico
- November 23rd – Banff, Alberta
- December 28th – Royal Caribbean Cruise
Check out the attached brochure for more details on each Trip – it cannot be printed for security purposes. You’ll receive a copy of it as your ticket after purchase.
How much do tickets cost and how many are there?
$150 each – there are ONLY 600 tickets printed which gives you a 1 in 16 chance of winning.
When is the deadline to purchase tickets?
Tickets are on a first come first serve basis to AFS staff, their family/friends, and our partner’s staff, their family/friends before we make an announcement offering them to the public.
All payment of tickets must be received and processed no later than February 22nd at 2 pm. Tickets may sell out before the final purchase date, so don’t delay.
How can I pay for my Ticket?
Tickets can be paid by Cash, Cheque, or Visa/Mastercard
Cheques are payable to the AFS Foundation.

An example of how to fill out the ticket is attached – Please review. All ticket purchasers will have the first chance at a ticket next year (we’ll start selling end of the year (November 2023) and include a January draw for 2024) before we offer tickets to those who missed out this year.
You will notice there is a section on the ticket that says “Seller’s Name” if for example, you are buying for someone else please put your name there and a contact. We’ll contact you for that ticket next year. If you are purchasing for yourself you can leave that area blank. I also encourage you to include the address info as a cheque will be mailed to the winner should they choose the Cash option or win $150.
Tickets can be purchased by anyone in Ontario.
